Materials
  • Fill dirt- Fill dirt should be free of organic matter as much as possible since organic matter will decompose creating pockets of empty space within the fill which could result in settling. Settling of the fill can result in damage to any structures built on the fill. Fill dirt can be used where water needs to be able to perculate into the ground. It can be used for backfilling.
  • Decomposed Granite- Used for horse stalls, arena base, driveways, walkways, backfilling. foundation fill, driveways, patios, ranch roads, dog runs, hike & bike trails, running and walking tracts, playgrounds, landscaping, and cactus gardens. Color is usually light or dark tan.
  • Enhanced Decomposed Granite- Used where there is a high traffic count. Material contains added chemicals that when mixed with water will become rock hard. Ideal for walkways and other areas where there is a lot of activity.
  • Washed Plaster Sand- Ideal for horse area footings and plaster mix. 
  • Washed Concrete Sand- Ideal for mixing with concrete. Can be used for arena footings. Contains larger sizes of aggregate with the sand. It is used more on steep slopes and high wind areas.
  • Fill Sand- Used for backfilling and leveling areas that will be poured with concrete or paver's. Sand is self compacting and is used where compactors will not reach.
  • Arena Beach Sand- This is the closest type of sand that you would find at the beach. It is suitable for playgrounds and sand boxes. Very fine grain sand.   
  • 3/4in. Gravel-  Approximately 3/4 in. gravel. Grayish in color. Used for driveways and walkways. 
  • Pea Gravel- Approximately 3/8 in. gravel. Grayish in color. Pea gravel consists of small stones used to create aggregate concrete surfaces. Also may be used as a walking or driving surface. 
  • CMB- CMB “Crushed Miscellaneous Base” is recycled aggregate. It is produced by crushing concrete and asphalt into a base material. Recycled aggregate can be used for many purposes. The primary purpose is for road base. It compacts very well. It can be used for ranch roads.
  • Flower Vegetable Mix-  Used for flower beds and gardens. Contains nitrates that help vegetation grow. Mix is approximately 70% nitro compost and 30% is clean fill dirt. The Nitrates give flowers and vegetables better color and taste.
  • Wood Chips-  Used primarily for landscaping. Color is either red or tan. It can be used to cover weeds and keeps them from growing. Works well on hillsides and acts as a form of ground cover. Size of chips is approximately 3/4x1.5
  • Equestrian Shavings-  Used as bedding for horse stalls. Also is used to absorb oil, grease, etc. Consists of wood shavings. 
  • Sod- We offer Marathon Fescue, Bluegrass, Dichondra, St. Augustine, Bermuda, Zoysia, Turf, Etc.
